Convulsing in my mind
A twitch face mirror
I stayed too long
But my feet were tied
Do you believe in the stars in the sky
A billion year old photon comes to rest upon your eye
Cold foot water grounds us like stones
But there is flight
Hands softly coupled
The wind is fresh with salt
Your smile preserved
I know better than to have the want
With ancient wisdom steam in my eyes
Almost imperceptible
In this cosmic bicarb’
This speck of time
Is part of the fabric
Of some other time
You show the path
With the beacon of your words
I stayed to long but my mind was stiff
Do your believe or are you agnostic
Desire is a cutting tool
Like diamond or broken glass
Behave at home within the fence
When home was where
I thought it was
Your lips are like an ancient echo
From some distant life re-emerging
The renaissance comes in patterns
Like waves
And your eyes give me soft comfort
And your words give me warm knowing
What was I thinking comes to mind
When I know in stone what I was thinking
I stayed too long
But my tongue went dry
With request for contact
I should’ve known better
But I need more, like water
I will suckle drops
From your mouth
At a distance
With my ears
I am late
To an early progression
That begins by subtraction
The eyes of raindrops was the dust of circumstance
Intention can be just to feel
I stayed too long
But there was more to say
But how can you with the distant chimes in your head
And the bells of now ringing in your face
With power beyond recognition
Bevel edge paddles lay to waste
I swim the Artic Sea
In search of sensation
Blades cut like a butter knife
Slow and dull are all senses
As the walk turns to crawl backwards
Like ebb tide
Azure sky rings inward
To woody halls that echo
With low words spoken to heal
And expose
I stayed too long
But meant no harm
