Poets Cafe

The poets have assembled
In the cafe halls
Sharing their words
For the world to be known

They would travel for miles
For their place and time
To fill the air
with a touch of their magical grace

Words that move you
Words that touch you
Stories that made you think
Some may make you sad
To talk of life, to talk of love
Or of justice or of leaving this place

The poets are there at the cafe table
Their words flow like fine wine
As in Mythology, they speak as if the words were
Sent by angels - perhaps they are

To speak of the vision of what they see
To tell of life as interpreted through others
To dream, to enlighten, to gaze and to wonder
Share with me my brother, let me speak to you
And I will tell you of this place of long ago
Called the Poets Cafe
