David Banuelos is a professor of English at Mt. San Antonio College and will soon be teaching at the University of California, Riverside, while working toward his Ph.D. His areas of emphasis include science-fiction, fantasy, horror (particularly H. P. Lovecraft), and comic books. His other interests include philosophy, religion, film (particularly Japanese animation), and music.
