Poet, photographer and filmmaker Jerry Garcia is a native of Los Angeles, California who is too old to have been named after The Grateful Dead guitar hero.
He has been featured as a poet and photographer at local Los Angeles venues including Horse of Another Color at the Velocity Café, Beyond Baroque, Literati Cocktail and Rhapsodomancy. In April 2006 he was a featured writer at the 11th Annual Newer Poets Reading at L.A.'s Central Library.
His poetry and photography have been seen in Petroglyph, Lily: Literary Review, poeticdiversity, Lounge Lit Anthology, Experimental Candy and The November 3rd Club. His chapbook Hitchhiking With the Guilty was recently reviewed by poeticdiversity and can be purchased through his website.
