Shark Fin

He moved swiftly
devouring everything he owned
into his Valise.
I begged him to stay,
to grant me a second chance.
He said no, I'm round that corner now,
I have to keep moving or I'll die.
He crossed the highway carefully, secretly,
leaving an lasting image of his steely
green eyes and shark fin profile
Off to conquer the world, carrying
a chunk of me with him.
