Crickets |
At night, the canned crickets
chirp inside my sound machine
on my bedside table.
And I sleep to their rhythm.
Dream to the steady of it.
In sunlight, on my walk, the
crickets chirp in broken sounds in
the green and yellow on my
right and my left.
Unsteady. Surprise.
And I don’t feel sleepy at all.
