Adrian Potter writes both poetry and short stories. He won first prize in the 2003 Langston Hughes Poetry Contest, and second in the 2004 Ozarks Writer's League Short Story Contest. His work has appeared in Colere, City Works, The Rockford Review, Cosmic Brownies, Prism Galliard, as well as in upcoming editions of America, and Reed. His first book, a memoir called My Own Brand of Blues, is forthcoming from RockWay Press.
