Edith Kornfeld began her career at 16 as a stenographer for the newspaper PM, and then became the secretary to the Editor of the New York Post. Her second career started when, at age 48, she began law school, and then worked as an attorney for the Office of the City Attorney of Los Angeles. She retired at 70, when she began her third career as a writer.
