| Ellen Webre is a Southern Californian writer and artist who grew up with the influences of a multicultural heritage due to her Taiwanese mother and Russian-American father. Myths and fairy tales have been major influences in her imagination, and now she uses them in writing poetry and screenplays. She is a regular at the Ugly Mug poetry Readings and has performed as a feature for the Coffee Cartel. Her work has been published in Vine Leaves, Bitterzoet, Cactus Heart, Geek Girl, Inkblot, Calliope, and Hello Horror.
