Kim Leng is a graduate of Mount St. Mary's College with a B.A. in English and History. She started writing poetry at the approximate age of twelve when a teacher prompted her to enter a local writing contest. The poem did not win, but that did not discourage her. She continues to write simply for the joy of writing.
