Nina Womack was born and raised in South Los Angeles as Nina Hairston. She's gifted with artistic traits passed down from her mother who was an actress, educator, and a writer/poet.
She spent her childhood years in the world of make-believe storytelling by writing skits, casting herself and her neighborhood friends, costuming them, directing them, and presenting her self-produced 'shows? to any adult who?d take time to listen. She began her professional career at age five as a stage and television actress as well as a print model.
The arts provided a safe sanctuary to help her cope with the harsh realities of growing up in the "hood". By nine years old, she became a published co-author with her mother when they wrote an auto-biographical book about Nina's perception of growing up in the ghetto.
She graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Theater Arts and remains youthful in spirit by re-connecting to her ?inner child? creating art like she did back then through acting, writing, directing, and producing film as well as events. A big kid yet a smart, savvy business woman, she is CEO of Nile Productions, a company that produces events for youth which she is extremely passionate about.
