Roman and Yelena Tunkel were born in St. Petersburg, a magnificent city in the former Soviet Union (nowadays Russia). There, they both majored in engineering, and minored in music, mathematics and astronomy. Poems originally written in Russian, by Roman, are later translated to English by Yelena, after immigration to USA.
