| Aurelius DeMarco is a secret Saggitarius who's lived on the Westside for the last 18 years. Aurelius has been writing poetry for over 10 years now, and performing spoken word on and off for the last 8 years.
"Poetry is a way of life for me. Writing is only half the process; the poem must be performed before I can call it "complete. "Poetry is what frees me. Without releasing thru poetry, I would be stifling my personality. I feel like my poems write themselves, and take on their own energy. They find their own beginning as well as their own end, once a poem is started, my hand moves as if possessed. I always have a poem lurking on my mind, waiting to be written. I doubt I'll ever stop writing poems. I will always be a poet before and after everything else, I'll always have my poetry. That, that's my legacy."
