| Charlotte O'Brien was born in England and lived in Australia and San Francisco before moving to Los Angeles. She currently resides in Redondo Beach with her six-year-old daughter.
Charlotte holds a BA in Creative Art with a double major in Creative Writing from Griffith University, and won the Australian Dorothy Crawford Memorial Scholarship for Creative Writing. She recently completed the Master Poetry Class at USC and returned from Prague where she studied poetry at Charles University through the USC program of Professional Writing.
Charlotte is a former co-host for Feminist Magazine on KPFK and a performer and staff writer for LitRave. Her poetry is published in journals such as The Southern Californian Poetry Anthology and Beyond the Valley of the Contemporary Poets.
