Sasparella

Gabriela López, aka Sasparella artist/actor/writer, was born and raised in LA, in an artistic and musical family. She has participated in/conducted writing workshops and open mic nights and presented a motivational arts workshop for high school girls at the "First Annual Young Women's Empowerment Day" at Rio Hondo College.
In 2001, she released her first self-produced poetry CD, Sasparella: Words & Music with the help of music producer Shug. Her most recent performances include CASA 0101, The Bluebird Art Lounge and Highways Theater. Most recent projects include a performance art piece titled "Apparitions of the Virgin Mary" and co-producing the "2nd Annual END-dependence Spoken Word Tour."
